Graduate students Selma Kırbeci and undergraduate student Halil Toprak have been attended this monitoring and conservation program as equip leader.

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, 7th District Hatay Branch Directorate, Samandağ Environmental Protection and Tourism Association, Cumhuriyet University and Onsekiz Mart University, Chelonia mydas and Caretta caretta populations were monitored and conservation actions were completed in 2020.

The number of nests was recorded by daily patrolling. Conservation actions such as nesting and hatching success, the awareness of local people were implemented.
